Serving as a Business Associate for HIPPA covered entities, MTL understands the critical importance of securing and protecting our client’s Protected Health Information (PHI). We regularly review our processes and procedures to verify proper protections for receiving and handling secure data. Each year we undergo an elective third party that reviews our system controls and provides us with a line item report on how our procedures and security measures satisfy the privacy and security guidelines established by HIPPA and HITEC.
FLEX SPENDING ACCOUNT
An FSA, also referred to as Flex Spending Account, lets employees set aside a portion of their salary pre-tax to pay for qualified medical or dependent care expenses. Employees can only get an FSA through their employer.
HEALTH SPENDING ACCOUNT
A Health Spending Account or HSA helps individuals with qualifying high-deductible health plans pay for current and future medical expenses. Employees can arrange contributions on their own or through their employer.
MEMBER / SUBSCRIBER ID CARDS
Receipt of member or subscriber ID cards in a timely manner is critical in order to avoid potential denials of service by providers or high retail prescription medicine prices. MTL’s high-volume card personalization and mailing capacity can support the needs of large programs to mail a large number of cards quickly in an efficient and secure manner.
